Pornography Recovery Program Disclaimer
Effective Date: Jan 1, 2025
1. Acknowledgment
By enrolling in or participating in this pornography recovery program (“Program”), you acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and at your own risk. The Program is designed for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. Your continued participation indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Disclaimer.
2. Voluntary Participation and Commitment
Our addiction recovery program is designed with a high level of commitment and accountability to ensure that each participant receives the full benefit of the journey. Due to the structured and intensive nature of this program, attendance and daily work is crucial. Missing one day's work will place you on probation, as we recognize that consistency is key to recovery. Missing a second day's work is highly discouraged and will lead to a formal review of your commitment to the program. However, if a participant misses three daily check-ins, unfortunately, they will be removed, at the discretion of the facilitators, from the program without the possibility of a refund. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity of the program and to provide a dedicated, uninterrupted path toward recovery for all participants.
3. No Professional or Medical Advice
The Program is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. The Program facilitators, organizers, and affiliates (“Program Providers”) are not licensed therapists, medical professionals, or counselors unless explicitly stated otherwise. Participants experiencing mental health concerns, addiction issues, or emotional distress are strongly encouraged to seek professional medical or psychological support from licensed professionals.
4. No Guarantees of Results
The Program does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to addiction recovery, behavioral changes, relationship improvements, or psychological well-being. Individual success varies based on personal effort, external circumstances, and other factors beyond the control of the Program Providers. You recognize and acknowledge that the more effort and commitment you put into the program with an open heart, the more benefit you will receive.
5. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
You acknowledge and agree that participation in the Program may involve personal challenges, emotional distress, and other risks. By participating, you assume full responsibility for your actions, decisions, and consequences that may arise from applying the information provided. You expressly waive, release, and discharge the Program Providers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising from or related to your participation.
6. No Liability for Participant Conduct
The Program Providers are not responsible for the actions, statements, or behaviors of any participants. Participants are solely responsible for their own interactions, communications, and conduct within and outside the Program. The Program Providers do not tolerate harassment, inappropriate behavior, or violations of program guidelines and reserve the right to remove any participant at their discretion.
7. Mandatory Reporting of Illegal Activity
The Program Providers are committed to maintaining a safe and lawful environment. If a participant discloses any information related to illegal activities, including but not limited to child exploitation, abuse, threats of violence, or other criminal behavior, the Program Providers may be legally obligated to report such disclosures to law enforcement or appropriate authorities. Participants acknowledge that confidentiality does not apply in situations involving illegal activities or threats to public safety.
8. No Emergency or Crisis Services
The Program is not an emergency service or crisis intervention program. If you are in distress, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or require immediate professional support, please contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area.
9. Confidentiality & Privacy
While the Program encourages confidentiality, it cannot guarantee the security of any information shared by participants. Participants should exercise discretion in sharing personal details in group settings, online forums, or other communication channels associated with the Program. The Program Providers are not responsible for any unauthorized disclosures made by participants or third parties.
10. Intellectual Property & Use of Materials
All materials, exercises, and resources provided in the Program are for personal use only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of Program content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Program Providers.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from participation in the Program shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Utah.
12. Modification of Terms
The Program Providers reserve the right to update or modify this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the Program after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer.
